Poll: Which Is The All Time Biggest HYIP Scam
Let's find out which was the biggest scam in the HYIP industry so far. Let's remember all these lessons and think more the next time before we trust someone with our e-gold.
There are hundreds of big scams and selecting only few of them is subjective. I understand I might have missed some of them as poll options. Here you come :-) If you select "Other", please add the name of the program you think is a scam as comment to this poll. Then (if the scam is really big) I'll add it as a poll option.

Did Legisi already stop paying? I thought they would live some time yet

Just a little more time until Legisi colapses. As they would say, "Time is running out, the clock is ticking", a genius would write something like that.

Youu were to kind to them in your short article. 12.5% per month compounded almost quadruples in a year. But it has to do more then that considering he only gets 95% after a 5% commission is paid. And then he has to take something for himself. Now who can make those kind of returns month after month? Ask yourself?

Even with that article I got threats from someone from their management ;) But yes, your question makes sense, Jack. No one could do it, and more important - if anyone could, he wouldn't share his wealth with us.

You are still being kind! You know he was involved in other questinable activities, such as Mazu Currency Exchange Program as well as being a Mannatech Associate, (even though that one is a listed company on the NYSE means nothing, it is not followed by any brokers and their products are probably worthless as stated in the company's prospectus. It is an MLM, watch out)

They were threating about going to court, Fat, but I know it's a pure BS. Yes, Rick, I know about Mazu, though never been looking too much into it. Do you think it is also a scam?

fat rick at Jun, 01 '07 10:22
Yes it was also a scam that just seemed to fade away, but Mazu publishing has something to do with Legisi. About going to court: Do the banks such BAC, C, WFC, CMB etc. take the brokerage to court everytime they get a bad rating and the stock goes down? Who does that scum think he is?

The scammers often try to threaten with going to court when someone is badmouthing them. They just hope the publisher will eventually get scared. So did Legisi already stop paying or is it still running?

A personal attack to that bunch is an attack on their scam

Due Diligence to that bunch means nothing, they give no resumes or financial statements. And then some people say that is the risk you take when you invest, and they themselves accept answers which give them nop insight into these people or Co.

One cannot find any informatin on the net about Legisi or the principals. Basically all one knows is % interest paid, location, name of principal, Tel. #, everything else is based on a hope and a dream. It all a lot of fluff.

Legisi is a big joke, and only an idiot would give them their money. There might be a few who started at the beginning and can actually say they made their original loans back, plus interest, but those are few, wait until the shit hits the fan, and Legisi just has no money in the bank to pay back. What then. It won’t be that HE stole your money, it will be that there is no money left in the bank and the game is over, the idiots lose, and you cannot do anything to get your money back. REMEMBER: it is just an unsecured loan, and the first in are the first out and the only ones to make money, but they are just as guilty as the owners. They made sure it is not illegal, but just a scam. You guys are losers. What can you do if they tell you the bank is empty???
