Create Profits For Real HYIP - Invest in Sport or Financial Betting

In the previous article we discussed the possibilities for creating a real HYIP based on forex trading. I am sure you saw it is possible, although not as easy as the ponzi HYIP admins make it look.

Gambling as Investing

Some investors are gamblers. They just hear or read about a new opportunity and they are the first to throw their money in it. Sometimes they score big profits, other times they lose all the money invested.

Some gamblers are investors. They don't bet for pleasure or excitement. They carefully develop betting strategies, keep track on their earnings and try to meet specific "investment" goals. If you are such a gambler or know someone who is, you could create perfectly legal investment program based on that (oh, well, depending on where you live!).

Warning! There is no really scientific approach to betting like it is in trading. One can develop great betting strategies which work, but they still remain highly risky. No matter what you do, betting is a volatile activity. The bookmakers have systems which let them always win more than lose. The only chance that you or your program make constant profits is to be different from the regular gamblers.

There are three main methods of betting that can be used to create a high yield investment club.

Sports Betting

Soccer, Tennis, Formula 1, Basketball... there are hundreds of sports, thousands of events and so many bookmarkers where you can bet. The only issue is to be successful. If you just plan to beat the bookmarkers with luck, better forget about it.

The successful sport gamblers are interested in the sports they bet on, they follow the teams, the tournaments, the current conditions of the teams and players, the statistical data and even the weather in the place where any event will be held. If you are not already a sport fan, that would be too much learning for you.

In such case you can use the services of a successful gambler. Any gambler will happily accept lended money with the promisse that he'll take commissions from the earnings. Of course, there are some problems in this approach too:

• The gambler can easy overestimate his abilities and bet too much on certain events.


• The gambler may just run away with the money.

Additionally, you'll have to add your fees at the top of his fees.



A better route to take is to use paid or free picks of successful betting bloggers. All you have to do is to find such bloggers who have positive winning ratio (i.e. the won bets are more than the lost). Then you can make money by following their picks. For example you can check this blog for free betting picks with positive success ratio.

If you win too much and too often you should be prepared to have your account closed by the bookmakers. The bookmarkers often find reasons to do this when they see someone taking too big pie of their earnings. To avoid this you will need to spread your bets between many services.

Sport Arbitrage Betting

In sports arbitrage you place two or more contradicting bets at different bookmaker sites. The tricks is to find services which give different odds for the same event. For example a basketball match in bookmaker A may have odd for "Home win" at 2.10 and "Away Win" at 1.80. In bookmaker B these odds can be 1.75 for "Home win" and 2.20 for "Away win". You need only to place equal amounts with the two bookmakers - "Home win" with bookmaker A and "Away win" with bookmaker B. This way, whatever happens you win.

It sounds fantastic, but finding such odds is very hard so people have developed sports arbitrage softwares. Usually these softwares cost monthly membership fees which can be quite high. If the software is not good enough, it won't deliver enough picks for you to recover your fees.

Sport Arbitrage Betting is in theory risk free game. However you need to always meet at least the price for the software and at the same time to be careful not to get your accounts closed.

Financial Fixed Odds Betting

The Financial Betting activity is close to trading with the difference that you know what fixed percentage or dollar amount you are going to win or lose for a given bet. For example you can bet that EUR/USD will be lower than 1.3611 after 3 hours. You know exactly how much you are going to win if that happens and how much you are going to lose if not.

Financial Fixed Odds Betting is considered riskier than the "normal" forex or stock trading and therefore it hides a higher income potential.

The only respected service for fixed odds betting that you can use at this time is BOM. They work with credit cards, checks and e-curencies.

To achieve better results, especially if you don't know the financial markets well, you can join betting clubs or pay for signals. This is similar to the trading signals when doing forex trading.

Building an investment club based on betting is possible and could be most profitable from all the investments you make. Considering how risky it is however, you'd better take this opportunity with a grain of salt. Chances are if you look at your investment program as at a long term business project, you will prefer to base it on forex or stock trading.

"But that is also risky!!!"

With about 10 years experience in professional betting (that means to know different betting strategies and tracking of results, performances, bookies methods on evaluating the risk and so on) I can truly say that surely it is the most exciting way of investing! It IS risky but sometimes the profit you gain couldn't be achieved in any other known way of investment and money management.

I like the spirit of these articles as they are well thought out and point out a lot of things to consider before you make the HYIP plunge. I operated a small financial betting pool for about 2 years (eodbetting). We are now geared more around trading and there is a lot more you can control in a forex trade as apposed to a bet. However as Ivan said there is a lot of money to be made betting and it really could not be made any other way with such a small amount of capital. I made probably over $250,000 betting at BOM over 4 years for myself and my pool.
