BetOnMarkets Review - Fixed Odds Financial Betting![]() By Tony Clifton [Your Program In Focus] In my journey for legitimate investing and money making opportuinities I often have to look back and see what things I have overlooked at the time I believed in HYIPs. BetOnMarkets (BOM) was just a fun activity for me at that time. I did not want to spend my time thinking what bets to play when I could just dump that e-gold in Golden Nestegg and earn 8% weekly without lifting a finger. Well today Golden Nestegg and not even one of the HYIPs which I played at that time is alive. But BetOnMarkets is still here. So I decided to look again into it with a lot more respect. Short IntroductionBetOnMarkets is not a passive investment. It is fixed odds financial betting service allowing you to place bets on financial markets and gain profits or lose your money. Unlike the sports bookmakers however, BOM does not win only when you lose. Since they are hedging your positions, they win even if you win too. This is important, because it is enough for you to be sure that the currency positions are not faked with the idea to make you broke. Types Of Bets And MarketsBOM offers a huge range of betting services. You can place bets on Forex currency pairs, US and UK stock prices and Indicies. It's higly recommended that you play only in the market in which you have some knowledge. The Doubles bets allow you to double your money if you guess correctly about rising or falling the price of a stocks or currency pair in a given period. For example you can bet that EUR/USD will be higher tomorrow than now. The "Super double" returns 4x of your bet if you guess is correct. The Expiry bets can be more riskier or more conservative depending on your will. You can bet for example that in 7 days USD/JPY will be higher than 114.61. You have a lot of flexibility with these bets because you can select exact range and period. The Boundaries are similar to the expiry bets, but with them you should guess that the currency pair (or stock, or index) will cross (or will not cross) a given boundary at least once in a selected period. The Spread bets are the closest emulation of a real trading, because you win or lose selected amounts with each increase or decrease of the price of a given pair. The Stop bets are similar to them, but you can select a stop loss. The Run bets are total gamble and I can't recommend them unless you have play money. The RisksBetting on BOM is very risky activity. In some aspects it's riskier than "regular" day trading or swing trading. On the other hand, with most bets you know exaclty how much you are going to win or lose. If you are not an experienced forex or stocks trader, betting on BOM may look more understandable for you than using a standard trading platform. Another positive is that you can start with very small amount of money (just $10) and can deposit with E-bullion, Credit card, Checks or Bank Wires. BOM also offers passive investment opportunities in their Community. The betting clubs or gurus can help you make money without trading yourself. You can read more about this if you join The Shark Investor Picks. Published at Sep, 04 '07 ; read 423 times; If you liked this article subscribe to the Free HYWD Newsletter
