Shaun from Horse-Layer.biz: My Business Is Well Documented And 100% Backed Up And ProvenI don't remember how exactly I meet Shaun, but it was not about doing an interview for his Horse-Layer.biz investment program. However I noticed the site and found it quite interesting. So here is the interview: Horse laying is an interesting concept. But isn't there a risk to get broke if the layed horse wins? Yes, there is a risk involved in "gambling" as such, however, for once, on the internet, there is "actual" well-documented evidence which proves that by using certain systems, coupled with good tipsters and a sound money management plan(staking plan), you really CAN generate a substantial income laying horses. For evidence, to back up everything I am saying, please visit www.racing-index.com which is one of the leading horse racing websites in the UK - on there you can check out tables which rank various tipsters and their services, including horse lay tipsters. Using stakes of around GBP 100 a time($200 USD), annualised profits of around GBP 25,000($50,000 USD) are generated by several services on there. There is also a well documented real-life case of a lady called Maria who started here own system, and relayed every single lay bet she placed. Over a period of 303 days she successfully turned GBP 3000 ($6000 USD) into GBP 100,000 ($200,000 USD) - if you'd like to read all 130 pages you can do. The days she hit GBP 100,000 is on page 128 - - http://www.expertbettingadvice.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=18713.0 - this is one of those incredible stories which truly makes you envious, and helps you to believe that making money can be achieved online! 2. You already have a subscription service at http://www.horse-layer.com/. Why do you decide to open a HYIP-style pool? Well, quite simply - I have been running a private pool for the past few weeks, with me placing the lays on behalf of around 20 members. This has been very time consuming because I have had to manually check everything against a spreadsheet. I wanted to cut down on the time involved, while make the most of this. A script helps to automate all of this. Members of my private pool were paying me $100 per month to participate. I wanted to restrict the numbers in case I had "too many funds" to lay with safely without affecting the price. However I called Betfair.com and asked them about if I could open a second account and they said yes, so, I can now open 2 accounts at Betfair, plus I can also open accounts at other betting exchanges, such as BetDaq, IbetX etc, so now I can actually increase the amount of funds I lay with to as much as GBP 50,000 per account. So, this new site, being subscription based, will be STRICTLY limited to up to 300 active(paid) members ONLY and then I am closing the doors. I may even close the doors sooner, depending on how funds come in. I personally do not wish to handle much more than around GBP 400,000 (8 betting exchange accounts) at any one time, for now - so assuming an average account being no more than GBP4000 ($8000 USD), this would equate to 100 accounts I am doing this, simply, because I am "already doing this" and it makes sense to me, to make money from providing this easy service where no effort is required by anybody 3. Your subscription service costs GBP 10 and the pool $30. What's the point to be in the pool? :) The subscription service you are referring to at GBP 10 per day, is for people in European/Australian areas to do their own laying using the tips I give out via the 2 tipsters I work with. Even this is a good deal because people can lay with GBP 100 per horse, and average an income of around GBP 2000 per month, so a fee of ?10 x 30 days is easy money. By the way this fee has actually been reduced by 50% also! The pool is there for people who "cannot" or "will not" lay horses for whatever reason they choose. The price really is incredible when you think about it - no effort involved, and for once they are working with something genuine, proven to work past stats attest to this. This really is something quite different and requires no new money to make money - it is 100% "unlike" a HYIP. Also I have had people ask me if I was going to set up a referral system for some time - I kept saying no because I wanted to limit it. Anyway with the realisation that I can have multiple accounts, I was pleased to be able to offer this for a maximum of 300 people only, and then close the doors. With the pool monthly fee, $10 per month will be paid back to referrers as a thank you fee. In addition, there will be a very very small referral commission of around 1% on any spends, split across 2 or 3 levels deep. 4. There is already a pool on horse-layer.com website. What is the difference? None whatsoever. The pool on the commercial website is for the general public and will be limited to around 5 to 10 people at any one time. This is personal 1-on-1 time with me, directly placing trades via that persons own Betfair account for them. Because of the personal time involved, I wont handle more than 5-10 accounts at any one time. 5. How long is your track record of successful betting? Not very long - in fact, I would say around 3 months. Why? Well, because I am not picking the horses myself. Instead I am subscribed to 2 tipster services. Both can prove that they have generated annualised profits of over GBP 25,000 ($50,000 USD) each year for the past 2-3 years each. When I lay the horses myself, I use my own strategy which I have employed most of the past 10 years in various things I have tried. It is a sound money-management plan, which is VERY close to the "Maria" staking plan you can read about in that 130-page forum thread I mentioned earlier on in question 1. I only ever lay a maximum of 2% of my bank on any lay, and this is dependant upon the price of the horse at the time I wish to play the lay. If the price is higher than 5, I will lay at 1% of bank. If it is higher than 8 I will lay at 0.5% of bank or less or o occasion, not at all. I also utilise a part of the Maria strategy whereby if my "bank" of money drops, I keep the same stake amount on each horse. But if it drops by 35% I will reduce the stake size. 6. I see you use Goldcoders or some similar script. What will happen if someone hack the site? The script is new, and extremely secure - It is 99% encrypted - even the database. All funds only stay in a payment processor for a few hours and are taken offline whenever I get the time, once or twice a day usually, but sometimes more often. If funds were ever stolen, or a processor closed down my account then, unfortunately this is a loss we would all have to accept as being a condition of being involved in unscrupulous online processors, and the industry in general. I would more prefer people to send funds via methods such as Paypal or a cheque or bank transfer. Horse-layer.biz cannot be held liable for losses arising for involvement. As I am not picking the horses, and merely laying according to the tipsters own picks, then I am not liable for any losses. Sorry, but I prefer to run an honesty policy on all my websites. I am a decent, kind and generous man trying to help others. If people want to get involved they must understand there are many types of risks involved in all stages of this. 7. How can we be sure that you won't disappear with the money? :) :) Well.. I have been "money making" for over 10 years now. I have run several real businesses offline and online and have met success with both types. I have a newsletter at www.someinfo4u.com with over 1500 subscribers. I run several sites each with hundreds of members, and there is no way I wish to ruin what I have worked hard to build up, by doing a runner with a few thousand pounds when what I have got can earn me far more long term. Plus, I have a past history of being involved in an offline MLM, and several online MLM programs and created success with these as well - this means that I have an attitude of "caring and helping others". I strongly welcome anybody to research me and look for the positive comments. Take for instance, my surf site, there is a rating page (www.sometraffic4u.com/rateus.php) where you can click on various monitoring sites - please go and see the votes. 8. I see you have a couple of other projects - http://www.someclicks4u.com/ and http://www.sometraffic4u.com/. How are they doing? Someclicks4U has experienced a quick growth in its first few weeks - but sadly the "cheap script" I purchased has been ill-spent and there are some things I don’t like about it, so I am not promoting it much at the moment. I need around $2000 to get what I want - so I am working to get those funds right now. Sometraffic4u is my surf site - going well - some of my horse laying returns will be used to pay out members. Closing comments: Laying horses is real life and nothing at all like a hyip with "claims" of outside investments - everything I say is WELL-DOCUMENTED AND 100% BACKED UP AND PROVEN. Anybody can prove for themselves that this works. The pool is there to help those who can't do this, and wish to get involved in something real. Just because it is real does not make it 100% safe - nothing in life is safe, not even a job these days. Getting involved in "money making" endeavours is always going to be more risky, so PLEASE think about this. I often put a lot of people from not joining my sites because I am brutally honest and up-front about risks - perhaps it is a good thing. Of course though, most of us, don't mind some risks - we are all "entrepreneurs" at heart, chasing the dream of wealth, prosperity and happiness. Thankfully, this is one opportunity, just for a few people, which ticks many boxes - honest admin with past business success, proven system, proven results, and limited. The only unknown is the future. Nobody can predict what will happen in the future. Published at Sep, 17 '07 , Read 2960 times. If you liked this article subscribe to the Free HYWD Newsletter
