HYWD Case Study - Running a HYIP Pool, Month 1 by Tony CliftonOctober results from our Risky Investment Fund (Alpha) First, let me introduce in this short paragraph our Alpha Risky Fund to these of you who don't know about it. The fund is an investment program, part of this project and is now in Alpha version. In the Alpha we are just experimenting how the Fund can perform and if we will feel secure enough to accept investors money. We work with our own money and investors are not accepted till the Beta. The Alpha will continue at least to the end of this year. If we are not satisfied with the result we will either continue the Alpha another 3 months or close the Risky Fund forever (but not the entire HYWD investment project). The status of the risky funds and all details regarding the invested 100 shares can be followed here. We started investing arrround Oct 20th, so the fund is yet very fresh and new and the October results can't be taken into very big consideration. The ROI of %2.76 is a bit disappointing, but this is again for the reson of recent start. Let's see how we did it. We selected 3 HYIPs which estimated (by our own system) profit chance more than 60% - ditex.org, deltarobotics.com and profglobe.net. In each of them we invested 20 shares ($20). At the end of October Ditex and ProfGlobe are paying fine, but Delta robotics seems gone. This is very bad, because we have returned only $2.82 from it. Because of this we excluded the DR profits from the profit calculation. From the other 2 programs we calculated the profits in the following way: assuming they will live their entire cycle we calculated what part of the daily payment should go back to cover the principal. The rest of the income was calculated as profit. Update right before publishing, Delta Robotics seems to be back and send us payment, this is nice At the end, 20% of these profits were deducted for our Reserve Fund ($0.75) and after that another 10% were deducted as admin fee. Thus we end up with 2.76% profit for arround 10 days. What are the perspectives for November? If Delta Robotics come back (we will wait 2-3 days yet) - glowing. Otherwise we will transfer the entire reserve fund to cover the loss and will have another $16.43 loss to cover. Hopefully our sports betting will bring profits to cover this potential loss. This case study shows that running a HYIP Pool is really hard and risky. However we hope that the next 2 months will show better performance and the report will be much more optimistic. One problem which should be considered is that in the Alpha we play with only 100 shares which prevents us from entereing some better HYIP progra ms. In real environment we won't have problem getting in and thus reducing the risk and increasing the ROI. Stay tuned for the November report or follow the blog at http://riskyfund.blogspot.com/.
