In Focus: Money Moves Asia

Here is it - something quite realistic, with interesting concept and pretty good information about what they do and how they profit from it. Money Moves Asia is a new program, appeared a month or so ago, but have been working behind the scenes for few years (accordingly to the admin's words).

They claim to invest in a wide range of money making vehicles. In their current portfolio you can find - from stocks (I would call their CruiseCam investing a penny stock one), to websites and real businesses. They produce arround 10% - 20% monthly and the minimum to invest is $50.

The admin - Chris - is very open to providing information about himself and the opportunity. He provides Verification Documents - passport and bank statements. Steve - the admin of hyipdiscussion.com forum - had a chat with Chris on webcam and confirmed that he is the guy on the passport. The website contains full address and phone.

He also provided a lot details about what he does and what he owns. As I don't care too much about seing passports, I'll pay more attention to those other things. Let us look at their portfolio:

CruiseCam is a website offering some kind of audio-video products. Are these products unique? Well I can not confirm. I can see that there is almost no traffic or links to this website though. They should be selling this stuff out of the website if they are really making profits. At least the whois shows this website has been created long time before MoneyMovesAsia.

FilDate is Filipinian dating website. They claim to have $2,000 investment in it. It is absolutely fresh, registered in April 29 and still has no traffic to judge. It is hard to say they have any income from it either, but it is a professional one and has potential. Interestingly however why this website who-is info is protected by domainsbyproxy? This made me look further. In their "about us" page you will find a text which you can also find in at leats 15 other dating sites. Stolen texts? No. Cheap pre-made dating site software? Yes. Oh well, with 2k we can't expect them to purchase custom development, but still wanted to point this out.

Rosedale is a "over-the-road freight shipping company, incorporated in Michigan in Jan 2005". This one ha sno website so it is getting harder to investigate.

Criss also mentioned owning some other assets himself:

SupportSave.com is "an established Offshore Business Process outsourcing firm (BPO) that provides services to US companies from our facilites in the Philippines at a fraction of the cost". Hmmm, Alexa traffic rank 4,222,484 (very, very low to make any money) and 8 links in Google total. Does not seem very successful.

However there are some nice and impressive things posted by Chris here. It is a bit hard to verify how successful these resources has been though. I'll try to get some answers from the admin on this matter, as the above research on the current investments of MoneyMovesAsia was not very encouraging.

Conclusion. MoneyMovesAsia is more transparent than 99.9% of the HYIPs out there. You can verify a lot of the data about the owner and the investments. And still it is a HYIP and has all the risks of losing or "losing" (you understand what I mean). I like the proofs that something is done, but I don't like that none of the things proves to be too successful. I think I will not miss this one, but I will approach with "hyip only" money.
