Why Astra has gone too?

Well, you don't expect me to tell you what is in Herb's (Astrasystem's admin) head, do you? ;)
I'll try to analyze however what were the indications for Astra to be scam and why so many of us (including we here in HYWD!) believed it is real.
Sometimes people strat speaking about the program being good and real and they strat speak so much that you start believing too. People are all so busy, we can't check everything - people believe other people who know for being clever and experienced. Yes, this is the case with Astra! So many experienced investors were telling that Astra actually trades that this was accepted as fact, not as oppinion.
We at HYWD tried to stay objective, but we also were misleaded by all the good oppinions and by the great history of the program. Astra way paying long time. Astra had a great admin always freely discussing various issues in various forums. Astra had realistic returns, good SSL website, reasonable minimum... How could anyone know it is scam? Well, it may be too late, but i think we can learn again if we try to see the indications now:

- fixed interest. Sure, you can't say all programs offering fixed interest are scam, but most real investment do not return fixed interest, do they? So, we should be suspicious always when we see that

- realistic returns... really? Were 9% weekly realistic or just we all wanted to believe they are? 9% per week CAN be achieved by FOREX trading, but not ALL the time. If you make 9% weekly, you trade with risk - so it is impossible to never have bad weeks.

- all people talking about it. This, again, is not a warning sign. Of course, if there is a real investment arround everyone will talk about it. Even feederfund is no longer silent. BUT! Do not be in a hurry. Most scams run away a month or two after becoming very popular. So, the next time when you think you found the real one and everybody is talking about it, wait 3 months. If no change - invest. If the program is scam, it will be gone 90%.

Let us hope we won't repeat these mistakes. Knowledge is power and we are here to educate ourselves.
